eScrip Overview 

What is eScrip?
eScrip is a fundraising program benefiting local organizations that support children. When you register with the eScrip program and shop at participating local, regional, and national merchants, a percentage of your purchases is automatically sent to the SMMC.  A sampling of participating merchants includes: Safeway, Molly Stone’s, Draeger’s, Piazza’s, Key, and Trag’s Markets, Round Table Pizza, Ducky’s Car Wash, and many more. A current list is available on-line at www.escrip.com.

What are the benefits?
eScrip is a major fundraiser for SMMC which can generate hundreds of dollars each year. The only work on your part is to register your credit, debit, and ATM cards and merchant cards (i.e. Safeway club card) that you use to shop. Once this is done, there is nothing more required on your part. A percentage of your qualifying purchases is automatically credited to the club through the eScrip program. You will receive periodic statements showing how much money has been donated to the club by participating merchants on your behalf.

Is there a cost for signing up?
No, signing up with eScrip is free and fast. 

How do I sign up for eScrip?

• Go to www.escrip.com
• Click on “Sign Up – It’s Free!”
• Search for by “group name” – San Mateo Mothers Club – or use our group ID: 128535787
• Sign up all your (and your spouse’s) grocery loyalty cards and debit/credit cards.

At a general monthly meeting you can fill out a registration form, don’t forget to bring your wallet with your debit, grocery cards, etc. 

What if I am already a member of eScrip?
The eScrip program allows you to support up to three organizations. If you are already supporting another organization, please consider adding SMMC to your account.
